Ron Simons
Actor Ron Simons was a dynamic talent on the big screen in dramatic roles. Simons kick started his acting career appearing on various dramas, including "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC, 1999-). He had an early role on the television special "Escape From Affluenza" (PBS, 1997-98). Following that project, he acted on the silver screen, including roles in "27 Dresses" (2008), the period drama "Night Catches Us" (2010) with Kerry Washington and the crime drama "Gun Hill Road" (2011) with Esai Morales. He also appeared in "Blue Caprice" (2013) with Isaiah Washington. He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Jonny Zero" (Fox, 2004-05). Most recently, Simons produced the Danai Gurira drama "Mother of George" (2013). Ron Simons died on June 12, 2024 at the age of 63.
