Ruth Etting
Ruth Etting boasts musical talents that have been featured in a variety of Hollywood productions. Etting was also credited in "Shy People" (1987) with Jill Clayburgh, the Laura Dern dramedy "Rambling Rose" (1991) and "Water for Elephants" (2011). Etting began her career with roles in "Roman Scandals" (1933) and the musical comedy "Hips, Hips, Hooray!" (1934) with Bert Wheeler. Etting's music was most recently featured in the Emma Stone dramatic comedy "Magic in the Moonlight" (2014). Etting was married to Martin Snyder. Etting passed away in September 1978 at the age of 71.
