Simon Pigeon
French-Canadian actor Simon Pigeon's career began in the mid-2000s with small roles in short films before expanding into supporting roles in feature films, including historical drama "Le déserteur" (2008). He also made an appearance on the French Canadian TV show "Les étoiles filantes," (Radio Canada 2007-08), before appearing in the youth comedy "A No-Hit No-Run Summer" (2008). His breakthrough role came with the coming of age sports dramedy, "Il était une fois les Boys" (2013). A period piece taking place in the winter of 1967, it followed the lives of five young hockey teammates who quickly become fast friends. As a result of his higher profile, Pigeon landed the lead role in the comedy "1987" (2014), written and directed by Richard Trogi.
