Tony Quinn was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Quinn kickstarted his acting career in comedies like "The Lavender Hill Mob" (1952) with Alec Guinness and Stanley Holloway and the Robert Hutton film "The Man Without a Body" (1959). He worked in series television while getting his start in acting, including a part on "Johnny Mann's Stand Up and Cheer" (1971-72). He also starred in the TV movies "Flight 90: Disaster on the Potomac" (1983-84), "Peyton Place: The Next Generation" (NBC, 1984-85) and "Two Fathers' Justice" (NBC, 1984-85). He also appeared in "Flying Blind" (NBC, 1989-1990). In the eighties through the early 2000s, Quinn lent his talents to projects like "Rooftops" (1989), "Deadly Betrayal: The Bruce Curtis Story" (Canadian Broadcasting Company (CBC), 1991-92) and "Dawn of Man" (TLC, 1999-2000). His credits also expanded to "The 1900 House" (PBS, 1999-2000) and "Come Together: A Night For John Lennon's Words & Music" (Warner Bros. Television Network, 2001-02). Quinn most recently appeared on "WWI: The First Modern War" (2014-15).
