Vilgot Sjöman
Primarily known for his sexually explicit, and formally bold duet, 1967's "I Am Curious--Yellow" and 1968's "I Am Curious--Blue" (the two colors of his national flag). Associated with Swedish theater and cinema circles from the early 1940s, Sjoman only began making films in the 60s. Despite the seemingly liberal social climate of the times he encountered his first censorship problems with his debut feature "491" (1964) and has since continued to experiment with sexually dynamic content and aesthetically bold stylistics.
