Teddy B Andy Warhol can be an interesting artist, but the person who gave him license to be a film director didn't make a good choice. Obviously, like every confused artist, Andy is trying to 'get' at something. He wants to observe human behaviour through boredom, he wants to drive his audience over the edge. The problem lies in... why? Just why? What is the use of this film existing in all its unbearable tendencies? It's a waste of film, really, especially back in the sixties. Sure, there a plenty of artists who made similar experimental films at the time but at least they played around with film techniques to some extent. A static shot of a building over a day isn't art. It just isn't. I have dreams about it sometimes where my whole dream is me watching the empire State building until I wake up. I've watch this movie countless times and have it on DVD, this is the best movie of all time and I think everyone should watch it before they die.
