Sean L. McCarthy Decider ... It’s important to listen to people outside of your particular ideological bubbles to learn where they’re coming from, even if you might not agree with them, because then you may come closer to understand why we’re at where we’re at. David G I never write reviews, for this I had to. I had never heard of Adrienne before and she should clearly be one of the biggest comedians in the world. Her joke writing is so good, I have no idea how she kept a straight face while telling those jokes. I was laughing so hard it was embarrassing. 👏👏 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/18/24 Full Review Michael M Absolute trash. I stopped watching only a few minutes in, because I'm not willing to wade into that cesspool any further in order to see if there's a payoff. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 11/17/24 Full Review Victoria P I wanted to like this after Louis C.K. hyped it up… but at the end of the day the delivery was so flat it was hard to stay engaged. The jokes were staccato, monotoned and uninspired. It read like someone googled historical events from the last 10 years, wrote a joke about each of them. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 11/16/24 Full Review Zach H One of the best joke writers on the entire planet. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/15/24 Full Review Fernando B I'm a former stand-up comedian (Retired since '19). Stand-up is about writing, and Ms. Iapalucci is a top-notch writer. The late comedy genius Patrice O'Neal said, in an episode of The Green Room with Paul Provenza, that good comedy is 50% funny and 50% shocking. Sometimes both parts depend on the audience, but with this new special all the material is 100% shocking... I lost count of how many times I reacted "I can't believe she said that!" The stark darkness of the material is beyond admirable. Shame on anyone who rated this below three stars... there's something wrong with them. 😂 As Triumph the dog used to say... "I keed, I keed!". But seriously, leave the politics and all correctness aside, take a course in stand-up, and then come back to this special to truly appreciate the writing. You don't have to agree with a comic to appreciate their talent. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/14/24 Full Review Dominique E She's incredible, this rating is wrong. I cant believe this rating got so messed up. Shame on everyone who rated this poorly. So I'm telling all my friends to give her the rating she obviously deserves Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/13/24 Full Review Read all reviews
