Audience Member A touching love story with unconventional leads. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member This was all right; rather depressing though. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member This impressive Australian psychological drama reminded me very much of Breaking the Waves, but I´m not going to elaborate on that comparison, because it wouldn´t be fair on Angel Baby. Why? Well, simply because Angel Baby predates Breaking the Waves. The story is about the relationship between two psychiatric patients in rehabilitation. They try to make a clean start, and build a normal life together. Things of course turn out not to be that simple. The character-study is brilliant, and the performances by the two actors (John Lynch and Jacqueline MacKenzie) are memorable. Both characters are very likeable, and you start feeling for them very much (I did at least). Very compelling stuff; if you get the chance, do see it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Engrossing drama with superb performances from John Lynch and Jacqueline McKenzie. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member my kind of love story Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Don't watch this if you plan on ever being in love or having children and are even a little bit crazy (in a good way or bad way).
