Audience Member The Christian morality tale about drugs merely highlights the absurd conception and inept execution of this '70s monster flick. Somehow feels shorter than 80 minutes, but still mind-numbingly, stupidly, funny. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Unfortunately the copy I saw of this had 26 minutes cut from it...but from what I saw this was probably the worst movie I have ever seen. And yet at the same time, completely awesome. A guy with a drug addiction smokes some 'super' weed that makes him go into fits, then he eats genetically modified turkey and becomes a turkey monster that is hungry for blood. Then the high wears off, and he gets helps and the turkey monster is no more. Really that is all that can be said about this strange anti-drug (and apparently anti-gmo and anti-turkey) grindhouse flick. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Want to make your Thanksgiving unforgettable? Why not bring BLOOD FREAK and show it to your whole family! It's a wonderful little film about an Elvis impersonator who turns into a blood-sucking monster turkey after eating experimented chicken and smoking pot; and he feasts on the blood of drug-addicts. That's not all. He redeems himself at the end by giving his life to Jesus. So basically this is an anti drug, pro Christian, gore film from the 1970s about a monster turkey. Please, don't waste anymore time with your life, go buy this little gem now and experience it for yourself. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member Nanar intersidà (C)ral à base d'homme dinde et dont le doublage est limite aussi puissant que LA CLASSE AMERICAINE. Un bijou du genre! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member "It's not only his physical appearance that worries me...it's his head. He's not Herschell anymore...he's changin'..." This is a film so strange that even though I've seen it, I'm still not convinced that it exists. I'm tempted to give this movie a way higher rating just because of how ludicrous, illogical and hilarious it is, but I'm really baffled by the whole experience. Props for some incredibly funny dialogue, some of the worst sound design ever, and the most implausible, illogical and irreverent narrative ever put to film. Almost needless to say, the end result of this madness if fucking incredible. Bravo!! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member This was either going to be really awesome or really terrible. It was the latter. Actually it wasn't the horrible acting or the cheesy turkey head that killed it (it was also really slow and the sound was awful), but the Christian message in it was really ridiculous. The guy who appears frequently through the movie to teach us about how we need to turn to God and we shouldn't be poisoning our bodies with drugs is always smoking a cigarette, to the point of coughing a bunch at the end.
