victor o I saw this movie only because I'm a big fan of actress Maria Ford. This film is a B-Movie that loosely adapts a Bram Stoker story, but it is one so obscure that many liberties are taken with it. It's the 1800s as a father and son get themselves lost in a dark forest and end up taken hostage by a cult of women that worship vermin in the name of solidarity against the world. But the son soon falls for a beautiful and merciful member of the cult all as the local populace intends to put a stop to this cult as the cult fights back. This was a time waster of sorts but in the end, it had its moments. It was great seeing the horror movie queen Adrianne Barbeau as well as Maria Ford. Very loosely based on a Bram Stoker short story, a young aspiring writer (named Bram Stoker, of course) falls in a with a cult of bikini-clad supermodels who worship rats or something - basically an excuse to show scantily-clad women eviscerating men with swords. Terrible acting, terrible writing, cheap production values, and laughable special effects - all of which could have been entertaining in a cheesy sort of way if it didn't so blatantly feel like it came off a b-movie assembly line.
