I liked it, even if some of them were a bit too preachy.

It had a really good issue that it was talking about...and the kids in the film seemed really great, but just not enough happening, too slow...

It was inspirational to see these teens finally finding a place where they could belong to both of their spheres: Christian and gay, two worlds that normally ostracize the other. It's kind of amazing that this camp even existed (wonder if it still does...). The filmmaking is a bit amateurish, but the people profiled are worth getting to know. Recommended!!

From my perspective, these are Christians who are attempting to amend the moral codes of the Bible to suit their lifestyles or predisposition to sin. I do not agree with that, because if you can imagine a different message from the Bible on one moral issue, why stop there?
As far as documentaries go, this has a rather unprofessional touch to it. The editing is decent and there is a little drama to carry the story, but the conflict is not strong enough to captivate an audience from start to finish. A viewer would really have to be determined on a level that reaches beyond the story to finish watching this film.
