Audience Member Loved the flick. Worth the purchase. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member "In 12 years I'll be 40 and in 17 years I'll be 45." So, I watched this 'cause we stopped in Chillicothe, OH on the way down to WVA. This rAnDoM movie takes place in OK actually. The indie soundtrack was promising, but so many of the choppy scenes were just unnecessary. It was like Edwards promised all these people they could be in his movie, so he kept on making roles for them. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Pre-Mumblecore indie dramedy about several friends in their post-collegiate relationships. Laughter (allegedly) ensues, but maybe you just have to be the target male audience for which this film was largely made. I've heard that the film is slam-packed of pop culture references, but it's really not and I felt the film wholly did not live up to its hype and hyperbole. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Whenever my husband goes out of town, I pop this into the dvd player. It's a totally underrated film and there are some great quotable moments. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member A very entertaining, funny movie that made it to the Sundance Film Festival, but is relatively unknown. This is an excellent coming-of-age movie. It has been called a "chick flick for guys". One of the most hilarious scenes is at the beginning of the film showing average joes like you and me gawking at goddesses as they walk by, knowing that they will never meet one of them for real. Also, another great scene of two friends vowing that "...they are going to make some action, meet some girls, go on dates, etc...." Just then, a convertible pulls up with some pretty good-looking babes who state that they are new in town, don't know anyone, and can you tell me how to find the such-and-such? Our two heroes go semi-mute with dumb looks on their faces and proceed to give the girls the directions, which was obviously not really what they were interested in. As the women drive off, never to be seen again, one guy says to the other: "I don't even want to talk about it!". Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Sweet indie film, very nicely directed by Todd Edwards and he does a fine job acting and writing as well. Appealing and real characters, amusing, nicely paced. Enjoyable. It shows what you can do on a low budget. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews
