rollercoasterfan2000 While I get the low score from general audiances, as a lover of amusement parks and abandoned places who fantacises about actually riding abandoned rides it's a must see. It may get off to a rocky start with CGI Big Dipper that even NoLimits Coasters probably could've pulled off better, but other than that it's a fun time for me. Getting into the actual movie, seeing multiple layers of time is a very fascinating concept for any urban explorer. And knowing what the ghosts say they don't like, I can't help but sympathise. It does fascinate me to think how they'd react to me as an amusement industry insider, I imagine along the lines of "this chic is cool, let her ride the rides. No traps, she actually came to appreciate us as rare as that is these days". Also adored the scene with historic footage of Chippewa Lake Park, some of which I had never seen. And while not a huge deal I theorise the movie takes place in 1990, seeing how much of the backstory of Chippewa Lake Park is accurate yet they say the park has only been closed for "12 years", as it closed in 1978. This explains why they don't go reaching for cell phones, because they'd have no way to know what a cell phone is since it's 1990. When a movie is engaging you enough to make you come up with theories, it's doing something right. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/05/24 Full Review Audience Member Truly the most awful film, production and "plot" I've ever seen. Avoid at all costs Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member The make-up and costumes are perhaps the best thing about this film, which has a bit of the Stephen King about it in style. It's unworthy of that comparison to be fair as it's a very wordy and script heavy horror, and the script is not good enough to engage the audience for a short feature length, let alone nearly two hours worth. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Cheap and pure garbage. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Good Lord this was a terrible waste of what-seemed-like-200-years time that it lasted. I feel that me smashing my face against a desk until I bled would have made for better watching. The plot was unrecognisable under the hideous acting and effects (that's assuming that there was a plot at all). Horrendous. Utterly horrendous. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member An awful Horror film, with absolutely terrible effects. Still the effects are not the real problem, that is the convoluted plotting, inexcusably boring onscreen events and dreadful writing. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Read all reviews
