Griffith J A Hollywood approach to a relevant topic. Interesting concepts that mix fear for survival, factual processes, & social effects. Yet it seems a bit over done & low budget. A stacked cast but not enough time with any to shine. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/27/24 Full Review Don T I tend to go against the grain, as I did when I reviewed the fabulous Napoleon. YYMV I guess. I found Contagion to be well scripted, well acted, and a decent score. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/26/24 Full Review Terrance L Interesting to have my first watch of this years after the start of Covid. It's not a "loud" movie that seeks to exploit itself with unrealistic storylines. I suspect that may turn some people off. I respect it though. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/16/24 Full Review Igor S It's a good watch. It's crazy, all the similarities between this movie, who came out in 2011, and the covid pandemic. I feel like it's not fair for the movie, that people are talking about it not having tension or being predictable. Of course it won't have any tension of be predictable; we've just been through a pandemic... Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/24/24 Full Review KB B This was such an awesome movie about a viral outbreak. The acting and storyline were both exceptional. I liked it so much years ago I bought it on Blu-ray. It's definitely worth the watch. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/20/24 Full Review red.amethyst It was terrifying. Super accurate and good, but like, my health teacher forced our class to watch without consent and no gore warning and I'm a little traumatized lol Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/08/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Candice Frederick Reel Talk Online A bit of a mixed bag at times, its overall well developed character sketches and good performances will certainly keep the attention of moviegoers and no doubt increase DVD sales (as well as, perhaps, sales of Purell). Rated: B+ Sep 8, 2017 Full Review Sara Michelle Fetters MovieFreak.com It took me a good hour after seeing it for the hair on my arms to relax and the sweat on my brow to dissipate, and if something like this ever did happen, I shudder to contemplate the societal ramifications. Rated: 3/4 Jan 27, 2012 Full Review Monica Castillo Dig Boston As disaster celeb-loaded disaster movies go, it could have been a lot worse. Jan 9, 2012 Full Review Allison Rose FlickDirect With an incredibly talented cast, Burns' words are in capable hands. Rated: 4.5/5 Feb 26, 2024 Full Review Danielle Solzman Solzy at the Movies Contagion might be a more important film in 2024 but it really speaks to the importance of being prepared when mitigating a pandemic outbreak. Rated: 4/5 Feb 26, 2024 Full Review Brian Eggert Deep Focus Review Contagion remains Soderbergh’s most impactful cautionary tale for the human species and perhaps his most relevant yet engrossing picture to date.
