      Michael R This is one of those movies that Disney would rather forget, sweep under the carpet, and pretend it never existed - and that's a shame! Sure, this movie (pilot) could have used a bigger budget, as visuals were lacking even for its time; but it had a decent story, and very likable characters. I'm not saying they should have made a series out of it, but this movie DOES have a cult following. Those who liked it, really liked it! It'd be nice to see this one get a re-mastered treatment someday. The aging VHS copies just aren't doing this movie any justice, and it'd be GREAT to see this one get at least a Blu-Ray release. The acting is good, the writing is well done, and the plot twists and progression through the story make for a believable universe where brilliant young adults and teens are the best hope for our future, without transitioning into 'kids-save-world' territory.
