Audience Member A gang of boys determined to clean up their neighbourhood streets from toughs and hoods befriends a millionaire after they rescue him from a mugging, and go on to help reform his son who is associated with the same muggers that attacked him. Million Dollar Kid is one of Monogram's many hidden gems, as a delightful comedy that challenges the many hoods and tough films of the time while carrying a charming message, in the best addition to the East Side Kids serial.
