Anton Bitel Little White Lies Part verit, part freakout fantasy, it follows a group living in a commune house as they must decide whether to marry into the very society from which they have rebelled, or else just to disappear in a puff of smoke along with the end of their era. Audience Member Tobe Hooper's first sorta-movie. There's no real plot, and it does get a bit repetitive and boring at times, but it's interesting to see the early style and look that he eventually used on Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Plus I swear the hippie commune house is the Sawyer house from TCM. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Not for everybody.
