lariste l Odd, and oddly bland feature film/vanity project from silver spoon Hollywood staffer Tom Woodruff Jr. As usual, the pulpy, sugar-and-water end of the Hollywood and corporate TV business contains a fair few private Liberal arts grads who don't have any valid ideas, sense of language or structure and essentially coast on remakes and borrowed material to earn their paycheck. More sad and derivative than glamorous. This film doesn't have known cast members and was presumably made in an attempt to showcase Woodruff's visual design aesthetic and "abilities" as a storyteller and director. Avoid. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member The demons are relatable. You feel sorry for them. But you don't want them to survive because they're evil. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Once you get past all of the nice masks and make-up, which gives the beginning of the movie great hope, then you have to keep listening to what the characters are saying and realize what a truly horrible movie this is. The special effects department will get a job from this gig, but nobody else. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Thoroughly enjoyed this unique and interesting movie Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Oh I loved the ending! Bawled my eyes out, and the philosophy behind it was rather enchanting. The story was great, camera work was pretty good as well, but what really grabs your attention is the acting, which I thought was top notch, and the make-up! Seriously, I thought that we would get only glimpses here and there of their demonic sides, but the majority of the movie is all the actors in full body make-up, and the acting was never stilted while in their other "skin". All in all, if you want something that will make you feel (human), and ponder, watch this. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member This was a bit too slow paced for my liking. And the acting was not amazing most of the time. And there was a lot of pieces that they didn't really explain, but the story was pretty great. It left you wanting more - to see and understand the origin and a bit more of the demons. The creatures looked great! This reminded me a lot of Night Breed where you have these amazing creatures that you don't really understand and only get an hour and half to view a small piece of their story. Looking forward to the next one. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
