Zack W Loved the sout designs and story Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/26/24 Full Review Adam S The rare case where the sequel is better than it's predecessor, Gamera 2: Advent of Legion improves in nearly every way, including a more intimidating villain, more epic action and a well-made story. Rating: 83% Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/01/24 Full Review Audience Member Why are these movies getting made? Because they're so fricking good. Just like its predecessor, another damn good Heisei Gamera film that delivers interesting plot and some great special effects just like the previous film. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member The crown jewel of kaiju movies in the heisei era. Gamera began as a imitation Godzilla in the 60s and disappeared in the late 70s in in a run of disappointing low budget, stock footage heavy entries. Resurrected again in the 90s for a trilogy of movies, this second outing in the updated franchise ups the suitmation game with Legion to unbelievable levels of detail and skill. A fantastic display of this style of cinema hitting it's greatest heights and having one of the better written scripts in the genre. Gamera 2 is a must watch for any kaiju fan, and if your new to the genre and looking for a stepping of point for look no further. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Better effects, more set pieces and a fantastic pace keep this second entry in the Gamera Trilogy on high alert! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Attack the Legion is a slight improvement on its predecessor, giving us a bunch of smaller villains instead of just one big one. The acting, action, and creature design are all great, and the music is some of the best in the franchise. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Read all reviews
