Audience Member Tough. Really tough. Not sure what I'm supposed to think or feel. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member An unflinching look at the daily life of people affected with cerebral palsy in 70s Tokyo. Disturbing at times! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member This stark, pessimistic-realistic documentary of the cerebral palsy minority were hard to sit through. No makeups to draw in compassion, no cover-up for prejudices. These wretched humans were shown in harsh light with all their cards turned--the taboos of sex, of procreation, of hate towards others, were all addressed. No hope, no sympathy (or are there?). Sayonara CP will make any healthy audience guilty just by watching. Connotation is self-served, actionism self-decided. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member This is another one of those movies that will make you feel downright spoiled. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Read all reviews
