Eleonora B There is no arch, no storyline, and nothing is ever explained. A film about a politician, where random characters show up, say a few lines, no one knows who they are and what relationship they have with the main characters, and then disappear. Dialogues probably wanted to be a bit surreal, but instead they are just confusing. A very confusing film, and boring as hell. A real shame, since Favino's acting is good. Save your money, don't watch this. L'attenzione storica e la costruzione del personaggio sono pressochè perfetti e guidano lo spettatore esattamente dove il regista vuole, ossia a far conoscere anche a chi non l'ha vissuta in prima persona, una buia pagina della politica italiana, senza però tralasciare il carisma del personaggio interpretato. Nel finale forse questa fredda esamina porta per far mancare un pizzico di emozione, comunque in coerenza con la scelta del regista. Progetto comunque ambizioso e coraggioso. A very simple portrait which doesn't tell anything ''hot'' about one of the most important characters in the history of Italy (and not just Italy), but a simple story for children.
