Audience Member simple. efficient. straight to the fight. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member It was okay, good action and very gory. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a low budget 100% B grade film with plenty of violence and blood & guts. When Milly is attacked by the notorious gang leaders the Jack Brothers, she barely survives the violent assault. With her butchered body put back together in this dystopian future, she seeks revenge against the people who murdered her family and nearly killed her. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Frankly this is a pretty bad film. I liked how it was short and to the point (running a tad longer than 40 minutes) but the story has been done countless times and the result is insanely predictable. The only brilliant aspect of this film, which was pretty much the only thing I loved (and probably the only original aspect) is what Milly really ends up being. The story follows Milly who's family (consisting of a husband and baby child) get brutally murdered by a gang of post-apocalyptic savages. She is sliced up so badly that it's hard to believe she survived or even able to walk (this is sort of explained later, but the cause of her survival is unknown). She basically goes out for revenge. She meets one coffee maker/weapons dealer with a history that we don't really learn about. They exchange some dialogue but after that it's her getting the sweet, cold revenge she so desires in some reasonably decent, yet not very exciting, action sequences. The end provides an extremely unpredictable turn of events. It wouldn't be too hard to believe if this film was made just for the ending twist. It's so unexpected, so funny, and brilliant that it almost alone makes this movie good. Unfortunately this doesn't save the film from being good. It has it's moments but, with a little more work, the team behind this could have made something much more memorable. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Not a bad little flick. For such a short film, I thought the first part was a bit slow moving. At one point, they show Milly just flicking the lid of her lighter for a full minute. With such a short film, they could have filled it up better. The last half was action packed and AWESOME! Martial Arts with a Sci fi twist. Can't beat it. The end is a bit over the top gross but I, personally, loved it! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review don s A Japanese short film focusing on the revenge of a woman who was left for dead after a family of malcontents slaughtered her husband and baby. Too short for any character development, so you get innocence vs. evil in a bloodbath of epic proportions. None too believable, but the effects are well done and the fights well choreographed. Decent. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
