Gordon S Solid and entertaining indie film. A slow burn that makes the absolute best of its limited budget with a unique premise. The first half of the movie takes place prior to a meteor strike on the planet as a small group of people plan out their survival. The second half of the movie is post apocalypse, with this same group just trying to survive as best they can. The final fifteen minutes is explosive and action-filled. The trailer for this movie makes it look like a non-stop horror/action movie, but it's really more of a character driven drama with moments of horror and an action oriented climax. The dialogue is excruciating, the acting appalling, editing seems non existent and special effects laughable. Honestly, I've seen better produced low budget porn films. I was half expecting at some point one of the girls was going to get stuck in a washing machine and exclaim "oh no step bro, I've got stuck. If you can look past the shortcomings of budget then this movie is really, really impressive. Great cast, decent effects. It's pretty character driven early on and explodes in the last half hour!
