Documentarian Caveh Zahedi films himself one minute a day, every day, for an entire year. The result is a candid, self-reflective journey into his mind and quirky personality. It's also an attempt by Zahedi to break through his own ego in order to chronicle the real person behind the public persona. But is that possible? Zahedi asks this and plenty of other questions about how a filmmaker captures truth and reality on film, trying to scratch deeper than the average reality programming.

Audience Member i just saw this. Because it was done in 1999 it has a nostalgic historical value. enjoyed it despite its limitations. -geogodley Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member An experiment where the director films a minute of his life every day for a year. He then edits it together into a 80 minute film. For Caveh Zahedi fans, it's hilarious, moving and inspirational. His mushroom experience is gold. It's also remarkable how personal it gets, especially involving his loved ones. Is it self-indulgent? Perhaps. But wouldn't everyone love to attempt this? Personally, I found it an absorbing and revealing experience. It helps when you have such an intriguing subject like Caveh. He's a truly modern independent auteur.
