Ahmed M Drags on for way too long at many times, the story is predictable and the movie itself gets boring pretty quick. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/06/16 Full Review Audience Member BEST. INDIAN. FILM. EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Had my reservations about this film but boy did it surpass my expectations. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Indian version of Romeo & Juliet Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Mini Review 7 - Ishaqzaade Plot: Parma (Arjun Kapoor) and Zoya (Parineeti Chopra) hail from different religions, family aesthetics and ideologies but from the same village in rural North India. They are always at loggerheads with each other and the feud continues to ride on high adrenaline through other added influences like local politics, religious chauvinism and power struggles. They eventually fall in love and rest of the story is about rising up to the near dictatorial situations woven around them. Positives: --> Parineeti Chopra's scintillating portrayal as leading lady Zoya --> Amit Trivedi's thumping musical score especially the background music --> Realistic description of reeking political and religious situations especially in the rural world Negatives: --> A bit too raw to appeal for all classes of audience Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Mini Review 7 - Ishaqzaade Plot: Parma (Arjun Kapoor) and Zoya (Parineeti Chopra) hail from different religions, family aesthetics and ideologies but from the same village in rural North India.
