Judy Graves (Peggy Ann Garner) is a well-intentioned New York City teenager with a knack for getting into trouble. When she's not hanging out with her best friend at Rockefeller Center or making fun of her sister's nerdy boyfriends, she plots ways to play matchmaker. One day, Judy manages to set up a date between her bachelor uncle (Stephen Dunne) and a woman who just happens to be the daughter of her father's (Allyn Joslyn) boss.
