Audience Member A moody romantic piece... Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Writing a review for a film such as this is difficult, given the lack of words able to describe even a fraction of the remarkable beauty of Light of My Eyes. As each scene resounds with the unrestrained passion beneath each character, the story unfolds with each minute of of intensity between the young taxi driver's ardor and the emotionally detached single mother he sees as his lover. The film blends the flawless performance of Sandra Ceccarelli and her equally mesmerizing co-star Luigi Lo Cascio into the director's world as he encompasses the lives of the fateful starcrossed lovers in the streets of Italy. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Antonio is a driver. He travels across the roads on a life on his own, made of fantasy and suggestions. Maria the impossible love to conquer, the epythome of a modern "it's complicated" girl. But how can you such a strong feeling? This time it's love driving Antonio out of it's immaginary immature world. Music ( heck out talented Ludovico Einaudi works http://www.einaudiwebsite.com ) and lights (here he's a Gisueppe Piccioni interview for Terna's web magazine "Eye on Energy" http://tiny.sm/piccioni ) blends into one arising as a real character. Gisueppe Piccioni shooting it's as brilliant and vibrant as falling in love. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Italian film Luce dei miei occhi. "..it is not what you do for another to be appreciated, but whether they like you or not." Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member I love movies that are basically just about life and the journey we all take along it's road; simple, and yet thought-provoking. I have a feeling this movie, and certainly it's beautiful score, will linger with me. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Gorgeous tapestry of life with such nuanced performances and montages. I like the inherent Fight Club-ian philosophy that one can only be happy after hitting bottom. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews
