Audience Member It was not that good. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Also called The Victim (1980), this movie stars Sammo Hung as a decent kung fu artist looking for a master to teach him. He meets one in Chung Yao, a talented master on the run from his evil step-brother. A couple of bad things happen and it leads us to the epic final climax. Chung Yao faces a specialist hired by his step brother, beats the crap out of a gang and demoralizes them to the point of them running away, and then faces his step brother. Ka-Yan Leung is kind of an Asian Patrick Swayze (badass), and Sammo Hung is especially funny in one scene. He accidently gets the brother of the woman he's protecting killed, she looks at him and he retorts: "I didn't mean it." The movie intercut a POV type shot where the actors does moves at the camera, and they splice these in a few times. Its a nice touch and change up of the usual cinematography we get in martial arts films. (This is also used in some of Bruce Lee's films) Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Read all reviews
