Roland (Albert Dupontel), a homeless man whose main hobby is sniffing glue, witnesses someone jumping from a Paris bridge into the waters of the Seine one night. The jumper leaves behind a suicide note and a police uniform, which Roland attempts to turn in, but he is rebuffed. Gradually Roland realizes that wearing the uniform accords him status, perks and a measure of respect. camille l Il semblerait qu'Enfermés Dehors soit un de ces films qui partagent leurs spectateurs entre l'adoration et le dégoût. Facile de comprendre pourquoi certains n'aiment pas le troisième film d'Albert Dupontel tant celui-ci est hystérique, bruyant, boursouflé de gags loupés et surtout totalement vide de tout ce qui faisaient de Bernie et Le Créateur des films sympathiques. On reste sur du slapstick éreintant à cause de choix de plans particulièrement vomitifs alors que Dupontel n'a réellement aucune scène où il doit s'expliquer avec des gens qui ne le comprennent pas, ce qui est tout de même ce qu'il fait le mieux. Alors bien sûr, Nicolas Marié est encore une fois franchement drôle, mais il doit composer avec Claude Perron, Hélène Vincent et surtout Yolande Moreau qui a rarement été aussi agaçante. C'était trop dur pour cette fois. Interminable et pathétique, Enfermés Dehors n'est clairement pas au niveau du reste de la filmographie d'Albert Dupontel. We find again this lost childish violent soul that we met in Bernie in the role of impersonated police officer. The filming is great with some very nice sequences (when you thought it was finished, there's just some more). It's really good but does not goes beyond Bernie. Not a must see.
