Audience Member It is already rare that a movie can touch a viewer with emotions. It is even rarer that a movie can excite a person with its powerful energy. A few films provide such an impact. Taxi Driver, Shaolin Soccer and Love Undercover all exude different kinds of strange energies that compel their fans to watch them again and again. They are mainstream porn. Miriam Yeung is wel geweldig Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Funny movie, mainly because of Miriam Yeung, who has great chemistry with Daniel Wu. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member At a time when Miriam Yeung appeared as the only threat to Sammi Cheng's status as box office queen in HK, habitually inconsistent director Joe Ma decided to tap into that goldmine and came up with some romantic comedy gold in Love Undercover. Yeung is a perfect fit as Hong Kong's own Miss Congeniality with her deadpan deliveries and quirky tomboyishness, charming characteristics that in her forthcoming carreer perhaps would prove to be more handicapping than beneficial, but an absolute asset in this context. Yeung is also supported by a great cast, the comedic duo of Wyman Wong and Sammy to name but two. A storyline that meanders a bit and a sort of anticlimatic ending reduces the magic a bit, but not nearly enough to spoil a good show.
