Audience Member It was cute. That's all to it. The plot was kind of hard to get through, but by the end of the movie I was glad all of the aspects were put in place. The main character, Luke Chandler, was adorable and gave a stellar performance as a child growing up on a cotton field. Not something I would ever see in theatres, but it was a good Lifetime movie. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member A long, long winded tale of author John Grisham's childhood memories growning up on a cotton farm in Arkansas. The title has some significance but for me didn't capture it entirely. If I never see a cotton field again it would be fine with me. The gravity and acting is great. The realism is outsanding. But this film just about wore me out. Too much sadness, hard times. Very touching, an good film, but it left me drained. Watch it yourself. I can't decide. A Hall Mark Hall of Fame production, this one is pretty typical of the genre. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Read all reviews
