Audience Member Before Mel Brooks' The Producers, there was the low-budget Italian-produced comedy film Panic Button. It's a story of a businessman who realized he could make more money with a flop than with a hit and decides to use that flop as a tax write-off. The film is overall just slightly average. Personally, I thought the writing was beyond confusing and horrendous. However there were some respectable qualities in Panic Button. Jayne Mansfield's performance was adequate, the costume designs were sufficient, and the some of the humor with the film was satisfactory. Generally, Panic Button could of been one of the greatest satirical comedies ever made but because of the lazy writing from this low budget film, it's not. Panic Button is average yet serviceable. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member "Panic Button" is a cute, campy Italian comedy with a plot similar to "The Producers". Overall, a light hearted and enjoyable watch!
