Audience Member 8/29/14 The description available on Flixster is for the wrong film. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member As someone who loves films mostly filled with telling silence, character studies do tend to easily sway to the boring side, losing the spectators interest in the first 10 minutes. This one has substance and it draws you in, a swindling son and a tired mother have the backdrop of Mexico City as we learn of their mundane lives, that not only attains to their day to day and human interactions but also the nonchalant way they bury the grandmother at the end.
