Synopsis
Ever since he was a boy, director Thys Ockersen has been obsessed with singing cowboy Roy Rogers. In this documentary, Ockersen takes his childhood fandom to the next level as he embarks on a pilgrimage to the U.S. to find the Western star. Along the way, Ockersen speaks with Rogers' co-stars, attends a Roy Rogers film festival and visits the actor's museum. After tracking down his idol, Ockersen sits down for an interview with the star and his frequent onscreen companion, his wife, Dale Evans.
