Audience Member Besides the musical parts, this one of the best Santo movies I've ever seen. A really B-movie with its up and downs, but enjoyable from beginning to end Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Like most movies from the Mexichahero genre this one is great fun.Too bad it was never dubbed into English. If it was it would be as famous here in the U.S.A as Santo vs.The Vampire Women.Luckily this DVD has sub-titles.You want high camp fun? Then this is the film for you.Earth is invaded by long-haired musclemen from the red planet and their muy sexy female companions.Of course the only one who can stop them is the "man in the silver mask".Like all the best Santo movies this one was filmed in black and white.Watch in stunned disbelief as el Santo uses his wrestling skills to counter the superior super-science of the invaders from Mars. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member I love luchadores & like the concept of Santo. I was first introduced to him in Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter & once that I found out who he wasI knew had to see some of his films from Mexico. This time out our silver masked wrestler must twart Martian invaders who have come to earth because the human race is on a path of destruction & decide that earthlings must be disintegrated to save the universe. Little did they count on Santo to kick so much ass. If you're a wrestling fan or like the camp it is a good time. It's lengthy but I didn't feel the time because this is loaded w/ as much wrestling as a PPV. Fun shit that I definitely need to check me out some more Santo. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Earns some credit for being so absurdly bad at times that it's funny. Maybe a bit for the environmental message too. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member I always wanted to see an El Santo movie. And I got my chance. With that, I can?t lie, it was long but kinda fun. It is great to see that the Mexican film industry in the mid 60?s put things out that was exactly as it would have been from Hollywood. It was kooky and interesting in it?s jumpiness. This movie has a near complete wrestling match in the middle, a great scene where shirtless martian people in capes decide to disguise themselves by entering a smoke room and turning into shirtless greek gladiator looking people which they never wear anywhere else in the movie, can-can dancing, asian luchadore martian, and a complete lack of explanation. It?s campy with no qualms, and good at it. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Read all reviews
