This film is a lot slower than its predecessor as it seems to be more interested at times to give us a tour of China, but it pays off well at the end. Beautiful and haunting. Recommended.

some wonderful comedy in spots, the director has things in mind for sure, but the motives of the characters are just too opaque...the film is just paced way way way too slow. But still interesting to a degree....the weakest of the so-called "cinema trilogy"

This movie had no substance and was over all uncaptivating..

Lots of random shots of boring stuff: walking through towns, eating, starting a car... The only cool part is at the beginning and end. My advice: use the fast-forward button.

This movie and The Red Spectacles (it's predecessor) grate at my nerves to no end. i'm just going to leave it at that or I'll be writing 3 paragraphs on how much hair i ripped out watching them, and I'm a pretty patient viewer.
