Audience Member Another good Audie Murphy here highly recommend this one James Welch, Henderson, Arkansas August 23, 2023 Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/24/23 Full Review keith w Routine western raised in quality by good plot, Siegel's no nonsense direction and strong cast with Murphy, McNally and a young Marvin. It's not got a big message but if you want a film that entertains then this ticks the boxes. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Standard 1950s western with uninspired direction, though assisted a little bit by its production. Early appearance by Lee Marvin in a small role. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review ashley h The Duel at Silver Creek is a decent film. It is about Marshal Tyrone and the Silver Kid who form an uneasy alliance against a gang of claim jumpers. Audie Murphy and Stephen McNally give good performances. The screenplay is a little slow in places. Don Siegel did an alright job directing this movie. I liked this motion picture because of the action. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member 170425: Neat villains including the beautiful but nasty Opal Lacy (Faith Domergue) and Johnny Sombrero (Eugene Iglesias). A bit shocking to see Opal at work the first time. Just doesn't seem to fit with a 1950s western. Lee Marvin stars as Tinhorn Burgess and Luke Cromwell (Audie Murphy) looks almost as good as his horse sporting a dual holster rig. Wasn't a big fan of the narration but liked this film's darker nature and focus on gun fighting. Plays like a 40s detective film noir. Got a kick out of all the nicknames. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member 'Duel At Silver Creek' is a co-starring vehicle for Audie Murphy, the last of the great B-movie western stars, briskly directed by the great Don Siegel... They had one obstacle on their way: The Silver Kid--With beautiful color and too much action, this little Western is nice to watch... The female of the species is more deadly than the male!!
