Sarah Vincent Cambridge Day The Loch Ness monster better not be real, or it may sue and win for defamation after seeing this flick (not a remake of the 1982 adventure horror film with the same name). Rated: 1/4 Nov 11, 2023 Full Review Josiah Teal Film Threat Characters never serve the plot more than mere victims; the monster itself, while fantastic, is used sparingly, and the story never evolves much beyond discovering the Loch Ness monster. Rated: 5/10 Nov 9, 2023 Full Review Jennie Kermode Eye for Film [The] purpose is merely to illustrate the potential that the monster has to offer were she ever brought to the screen with adequate financing and talent. Dale P Cinematography not bad, direction not bad, most of the actors weren’t even very bad. The writing was absolutely beyond abysmal, though. How did the ship run with no crew? Did anyone but the girl who went down in the cage have any actual skills that would be of any use on the mission? what was the purpose of the girl going down in the cage? She only went down 10 feet! At night, in rough seas, with no light-how was she going to see anything anyway? The dialogue in general ranged from nonsensical to puerile. Did whoever wrote this absolutely know nothing about anything, including how to use Google? So much more was wrong that I’m already bored with trying to remember it. Truly awful and is a disgrace! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/28/23 Full Review Read all reviews
