jerry p Remake of I was a Fugitive From a Chain Gang. Mildly entertaining but not sure how it warrants a 96% approval. Excellent performances from Charles Dunning as the warden. Willam Sanderson as a guard. Kyra Sedgwick is flat chested girl friend, apparently before breast implants. Oddly, the Portuguese wife has this swarthy almost mulatto complexion, that's not characteristic of European women. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member good plot- chain gang... Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member My Dad produced this film and it was nominated for Best Picture in the Cable Ace Awards as well as winning Best Cinematography. It's a really good re-make of the classic original. Val Kilmer is great as is Sonia Braga and Billy Bob Thornton makes one of his first screen appearances in this film.
