Jeremy M Powerful, albeit somewhat of a one sided perspective. Sure seems unlikely to me that Duerte just peacefully gives up his power whenever his term is up, that dude is legit scary, starts with drugs, already moved to media suppression.......I mean where does it end?....I feel like perhaps we have all seen a story similar to this play out in history, "good intentions" leading to too much power takes an entire country down a deep dark rabbit hole. Assuming those intentions are actually indeed borne of goodwill and not something more sinister and simple like having complete power and control over everything. For some reason the whole situation conjures images of Hitler and "the night of the long knives" and "night of broken glass". Yikes.
