Audience Member Zero stars. The book was bad enough. Then I had to sit and endure this... Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member The sound design is by far the worst part of the film, but the acting, screenwriting, and pacing are close seconds. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Its faithful, but the acting was mediocre at best. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Here's another film rating. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member We are watching this version of the movie in my Excel English class. Now, I enjoy the book, Meg Foster and John Heard. But, it's a touch slow. Little well projected emotion with the archaic language, and... not quite filmed as many miniseries are today. So, I gave it a five because I'm in the middle on this one. I've only seen the scaffold scenes, and the important points that go along with the important chapters. Perhaps I will see all of it one day.
