Carl Crew plays a very unconvincing "Jeffrey Dahmer" in this unintentionally funny and poorly acted depiction of Jeffrey Dahmer's life.

Esta pelÃÂcula retrata a un Dahmer bastante sádico y enfermo, al hombre solo, sin amigos ni familia y con problemas emocionales. Mi pregunta es: How sad and lonely do you have to feel to get to the point to kill someone so that person never leaves? How sick do you have to be to eat a person to feel that he is now part of you?.

For years I've been sick of telling people about how awesome the Dahmer movie was and having them think I’m talking about the big Hollywood version starring Jeremy Renner. Fuck no; I'm talking about the low-budget Dahmer movie that was released by Dead Alive, who did all those gruesome Traces of Death videos. I've seen parts of the Jeremy Renner version, and it seemed horrible. I remember much of it was just Dahmer sitting on a couch talking to a black guy, who runs away and comes back and throws a rock through his window at the very end before the credits roll. How lame is that? Jeremy Renner didn't even look like Jeffrey Dahmer. Dahmer didn't look like a chubby faggot, who almost just won an Oscar for excelling at being boring. People need to remember that Dahmer was the sexiest of the sexy men. In this version, the actor looks A LOT like Jeffrey Dahmer, and the film is more about the sequence of events that actually happened than whatever the fuck was going on in that other version. So, anyways, it always pisses me off when people think that's the movie I'm talking about. The Secret Life: Jeffrey Dahmer is very low-budget, but shockingly more realistic, more visceral and bloody - showing the murders as they probably actually happened. The screenplay was written by the actor playing Dahmer, Carl Crew, who seemed to have an excellent understanding of what Dahmer was all about; who he was as a person. This guy really did his homework. The whole story is here, from beginning to end. And not only did Carl Crew embody the tragic figure that Jeffrey Dahmer really was; he also captured Dahmer's undeniable sexiness. Face it, killer or not, Dahmer GOT LAID! (High five, Jeffrey!) A majority of Dahmer's "victims" (c'mon guys, Dahmer was a bit out of your league, wasn't he? What did you expect?) were strong, muscular black men. It's amazing one of them escaped and turned him in. Another escapee suffered in silence for years because he didn't want anyone to know he was experimenting with a guy, because it would hurt his career. It would be fair to say Mr. T's career was pretty much over at the time anyway, so I don't know what he was so afraid of. Now I admit, Jeffrey Dahmer was a very flawed person. But he knew what he wanted, and made his fantasies a reality. That takes a lot of balls. If anything, this is at the most basic level, a touching melodrama about following your dreams. I think Jeffrey needs to be remembered less for the "monster" he was mistaken for and more for the genius he deserves to be recognized as. I mean, christ, dissolving bodies in a vat of acid, drilling holes in brains and turning men into zombies, painting skulls so they looked fake? Guy was dead smart. And he got away with it for, what, about 13 years? That's like a record. Jeffrey was arrested on my birthday, July 22nd, and it's probably the worst birthday present I've ever gotten in my life. It's so sad that he was later beaten to death in prison. I know, I know, he deserved it. But he did his time (I would say that at least 8 months would've been an acceptable sentence, even.) And this asshole that got away and turned him in - you're next, buddy. Dahmer would've wanted someone to finish what he started.

I saw it for the second time yesterday... No, I'm not a masochistic gay , even if it's maybe one of the worst film ever made, It as something great on it.
because you can't stop laughting, this movie is so badly directed that at one moment the guy is in the middle of the night (because of a underexposure) and the second after in full bright light... And this is one of the many mistake.
Another think is that is poorly acted, so poorly than you are forced to think... That's a porn ... But where are the porn scene goes ?
A lot of important moment of Dahmer History is missing or wrong or... just barrly explain in voice oof screen.
How, can a sigle movie show so many lack of technic. All school of cinema must show this movie and say : You see that, if you do that, so try another job... Maybe McDO ?
A masterpiece of nullity !!
