Audience Member A period piece with a quaint storyline of struggling artists and romance Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Once again Zoe Tapper is wonderful in this film as the girl trying to become an actress. I couldn't stop watching it, I was so tied up in her character. Angelica Huston was great in it and Terrence Stamp was so funny. he had some of the best lines in the film! Both lead actors that are trying to win over zoe take your breath away, and you really route for both of them. You truely are left confused as to who she should end up with till the end. This is also a new twist on most Pre World War II films, as it involves more of the theater with the back drop of the war building up. I loved it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Kinda long, but entertaining. Kinda complex, you get to know some of the characters really well, but you can't compenetrate too well with most of them. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Definately not the best movie ever made. I saw it on the shelves, and was like, "ooh, 30's!", so I rented it. Waste of time. When the best actor in a movie is the butler, something is dreadfully wrong. I also couldn't get over the fact that one of the main characters (Robin) looked so much like Michael Jackson. Adorable story, but wayyyyyy over done. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member I enjoyed watching the film, and some moments in it were touching. But overall, there were more problems than virtues. Great casting. Not very good storytelling. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Read all reviews
