Glorious. The Leningrad Cowboys (from Finland, not Leningrad - the lead guitarist later founded Nokia) performing with, really from Russia, The Alexandrov Red Army Choir. With the addition of balalaikas and dancers they cover everything from The Volga Boatman Song to Sweet Home Alabama, Knockin' on Heaven's Door, and Delilah.

Likely one of the most unusual concerts that you will ever encounter. The Leningrad Cowboys dance around singing covers with their prominent hairdos while being accompanied by the respected Red Army chorus in Helsinki. Following the fall of the Berlin Wall, this is a slice of anticipated peace between two neighbouring countries that formed an uneasy peace for decades.

One of the best live DVD's ever. The Leningrad Cowboys put on a hell of a fucking show. If you have a sense of humor, and a taste for various musical styles, you will adore this. It's fucking perfection. Kaurismaki, you're a mad genius.
