Straw isn’t the worst Perry film, but it suffers from the same problems that plague all of his projects. The narrative is chock full of heavy-handed metaphors, fussy plotting and strained drama. The best parts of the film can be attributed to Henson.

This movie was so moving. I don’t know what it was to be honest but it condensed me and my family to tears. Focused on alot of topical issues evident in American society. Absolutely amazing and I recommend this movie 110%

Ever watch a movie that the next day, and the day after that, left you thinking about it? This is that movie. I generally do not watch stories like this, but the acting is compelling and the storyline tragically unique. If you watch this movie and feel nothing, I'm sorry for you, because you are dead. While it is not perfect in any means, and could benefit from better production, every other aspect of it more than compensates for areas of any lack.
