David Cornelius DVDTalk.com UFO: Target Earth isn't a very good movie, but it's sorta fascinating in spots, with a relentlessly eerie mood. Rated: 2/5 Aug 19, 2009 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member If you like Really cheap cheesy movies this is for you. I'm watching it on the tv & here are a several non-actors running around in the woods trying for something to do. Unfortunately not much happens & when something does happen it's underwhelming. Worse it actually tries at the end to give some religious spiritually to this pointless affair. Watch only if you're a already a brain dead zombie. If not might I suggest something a little more lively i.e. a cheesy '50's robot invasion movie called, yes, 'Target Earth'. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review delysid d UFO target earth is an obscure movie for a good reason. Its pretty bad, it features obnoxious characters and the story makes very little sense. I liked the part where it shows trippy swirling designs for a while. I liked the retro quality of the film Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/23/17 Full Review Audience Member Though this had a decent beginning with truly intriguing metaphysical ideas; a dated but fine psychedelic soundtrack; an interesting pseudo-documentary technique; complete with the requisite narration, to start things off with; decent surroundings and I liked the charm and 'Ivory Girl' beauty of the medium (played by Cynthia Cline--this seems to be her only film credit), this low-budget creeper has no momentum, and no idea in either how to build those ideas into something worthwhile, or where to go with them. The fractal graphics that are supposed to overwhelm us as no-cost special effects are horribly dated and left on-screen for way too long. I haven't seen director DeGaetano's other, later two films, but I hope they're not the snoozefests that this was. Steer clear of this with all of your might--the poster is the best thing about the movie. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Dumb plot, slow pacing, and uninteresting characters. The film is hard to follow, because it's such a mess. It has some interesting concepts, but they're not told in the right way. More or less, a pain to watch. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member The filmmakers genuinely tried to tell a compelling story, I admire the effort, but it just didnÂ’t quite work. Good score, the acting is okay. The low budget of the film is too evident. Nice try.
