This biopic chronicles the iconic lifetime of British monarch Queen Victoria. Over four episodes, the mini-series chronicles the life and reign of Victoria (Julie Harris). It follows the Queen from her time as a teenage princess, through her succession to the throne in 1837 and up to the celebration of her 75th year in power, better known as the Diamond Jubilee. The film also explores the friendship, and working relationship, the Queen had with Benjamin Disraeli (Basil Rathbone).
