D P @RT45936356 4d I've been wanting to see this since it was first advertised. And, while I think it was a very well put together film, I can see why it bombed at the box office. It just wasn't all that entertaining. A good story, though. Just not enthralling. Personally, the movie was thirty minutes too long, the characters could have been paced better, and the most exciting moments of the entire film was when he was creating the world-famous town, Marwen. Beautifully told as it centers around one event that happened before the events of the film and how this troubled man, played by the great Steve Carrell, tries to adapt to his brand new life as his old one was beaten out of him.
