"Survivor" meets "Friday the 13th" in this suspense-oriented twist on the unscripted-show format. Appropriately enough, 13 contestants are thrust into a mystery in the Louisiana bayou, with one person "vanishing" each week. Many of the challenges put to them are taken from classic horror-film scenarios; the series' producers include someone well-versed in the genre, filmmaker Sam Raimi, who was more "Evil Dead" than "Spider-Man" originally. The player who makes it all the way to the end of the competition will win a prize that's also in keeping with the spooky theme: $66,666.
