The suave, confident and devastatingly handsome Sterling Archer may be the world's greatest spy, but he still has issues with his friends and colleagues who live to undermine and betray one another. Whether set in 1940s Los Angeles, the jungles of South America or the dangerous islands of the South Pacific, "Archer" is an animated comedy that spans time and place to navigate Sterling, Lana, Cheryl/Carol/Charlotte, Cyril, Pam, Ray and Krieger's misguided misadventures that range from attempting to save the world from nuclear disaster to selling illegal narcotics to Colombian cartels.

Emily St. James AV Club [T]he fact that this show is so confident of all of its characters and all of its settings that it feels like it should pay off even some of the smaller ones in its first season finale suggests a series that's really hitting its stride. Rated: B+ Oct 30, 2019 Full Review Steve Greene IndieWire Perhaps what's most impressive about "Archer" is that it has managed to continually weave an intricate linguistic tapestry to go along with the "Mad Men"-adjacent visual aesthetic it had at its outset. Jul 5, 2018 Full Review William Thomas Empire Magazine [Archer] is relying on crude sex jokes and workplace bullying for most of its laughs. Stupid, ludicrous and occasionally quite funny, you wouldn't exactly call Archer sophisticated. Rated: 3/5 Oct 31, 2017 Full Review Ed Bark Uncle Barky Archer in fact has its moments. It also features sterling voice-over work by H. Jon Benjamin, who's in command from start to stop. Rated: B Oct 29, 2019 Full Review Will Wade Common Sense Media This witty series flips the conventions of the espionage thriller, creating an entertaining and original show. Rated: 3/5 Oct 29, 2019 Full Review Seth Amitin IGN Movies When the show lacked in plot at times, the characters, magnificent dialogue and voice acting kept the show flying. Rated: 9.2/10 Oct 28, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews
